Free AARP Tax Help Returns to Henryetta for 2026 Season

It’s that time of year again! The AARP Tax-Aide team is back in Henryetta, fully certified and ready to assist residents with free income tax preparation services.

All counselors have completed their required AARP and federal training and are certified to prepare and file taxes for the 2026 season.

This year’s service is once again offered in partnership with First Family Federal Credit Union and will be located at the Briefcase building, 313 West Main Street in Henryetta.

📅 When & Where:

  • Wednesdays only

  • Now through April 8, 2026

  • 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

  • Location: 313 West Main Street (The Briefcase building)

📂 How It Works:

This year’s policy is drop-off service, so appointments are not required unless special circumstances apply. Tax packets are available at:

  • Henryetta Public Library

  • Lobby of First Family Federal Credit Union

  • On-site at the Briefcase building on Wednesdays

Instructions are included inside each packet.

If you have questions, call (918) 268-8676 and leave your name, phone number, and reason for calling. A volunteer will return your call.

This service is completely free of charge to all residents — no membership required. Last year alone, volunteers prepared approximately 350 returns, saving community members more than $100,000 in tax preparation fees.
