Obituary For Barbara Pitts January 6 1950 – June 26 2026

Barbara “Boban” Pitts a resident of Henryetta passed this life on June 26, 2026 in Henryetta. Born January 6, 1950 in West Virginia to William and Eleanor (Young) DeTurk. Boban worked many years for Wal Mart and a member of the Nazarene Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Bill “Duce” DeTurk.

Survived by her sons: Cory Pitts and wife Leetha of Eufaula, Ok and Kenneth Ray Pitts of Henryetta
Granddaughter: Madeline Funburg and husband Kathen of McAlester
Grandson: Terran Pitts of McAlester
Great Grandchildren: Kori Funburg and Milan Funburg
Siblings: Betty Simmons of Claremore; John DeTurk and wife Vicki of Henryetta; Kay Sutterfield and husband Rob of Henryetta; Mike DeTurk and wife Susan of Chickasha

Visitation will be 12:00 pm, to 6:00 pm, Tuesday, June 30th with family greeting friends from 4:00 to 5:00pm at the Rogers Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at the Nazarene Church with Pastor Brad Campbell, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
