Obituary for Jimmie Keith Schatt April 9 1950 – January 30 2026

Jimmie was born in Henryetta, OK and retired from the IUOE Local 12 where he worked for 30 years. He married Tracia Swindell on June 21st, 1979 in Donaldsonville Louisiana. Jimmie and Tracia with the help of a lot of family and friends remodeled the Old Rosenwall School which has been their home for over 30 years. He was proceeded in death by his parents Raymond and Oneita Schatt and two grandsons James and Jimmie Schatt. Surviving relatives including his wife, Tracia of the home, two sons Chris and Bradley Schatt, one daughter Jamie Amezquita, her husband Rey. He has three sisters Barbara, Mary Jo, and Debbie.
He had nine grandchildren; James Jimmie, Christopher, Raven, Dustin, Poyson, River, Malia and Michael. Great grandchildren Carly, Christopher, Marshall, Conner. His brother and sister in-laws Linda and Frank Wells, Tommy Wells, Gracie and VL Grimes, Rich Martenson.
Numerous nephews and nieces on both sides. Many friends he considered family. We will all miss him immensely but will all see him again. We will love him always and forever.

Celebration of Life will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 7, 2026 at the Rogers Funeral Home Chapel.
