The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and VFW Auxiliary Post 539 are gearing up to host the exciting Vets for Pets Costume Contest on August 30 at 12:30 PM.

This delightful event will take place outside the Briefcase, located at 313 W Main St, Henryetta, OK 74437, bringing together pet lovers and their creatively dressed companions.

Event Details

Pet owners are invited to register their furry friends for the costume contest between 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM on the event day outside the Briefcase. Alternatively, pre-registration can be done by texting Tricia Bear by August 24. Include your name, phone number, email, your pet’s name, breed, age, and their favorite activities when texting (479) 414-0952. Best of all, there’s no registration fee to join the fun!

Prizes and Perks

The contest offers enticing prizes to celebrate the best-dressed pets: $100 for 1st place, $50 for 2nd place, and $25 for 3rd place. All participating pets must be on a leash per city regulations. Every owner who enters will receive a free raffle ticket, offering a chance to win a gift certificate from Crocker Vet in Morris. The prize includes a free exam and a one-year supply of Bravecto Flea/Tick prevention, with Crocker Vet reachable at (918) 733-4525. Additionally, a free pet day spa from Love Fur Dogs Grooming in Henryetta, contactable at (918) 438-4092, will be raffled off.
