CLINTON, OKLA. — The Henryetta Glitter Hitters 8U Coach Pitch team is moving on in the Oklahoma Kids State Tournament after earning a convincing 10-3 victory over Anadarko 8U Gold on Thursday afternoon.

The Glitter Hitters jumped out early and maintained control throughout the contest, securing the win in the top of the fifth inning. The victory keeps Henryetta’s state championship hopes alive and extends an already impressive season for the young squad.

Fresh off their Tri-County Tournament Championship, the Glitter Hitters entered state tournament play with confidence and determination. That confidence showed on the field as the team delivered a strong all-around performance against Anadarko.

With the opening-round victory behind them, the Glitter Hitters now turn their attention to their next challenge. Following the results of the evening bracket games, Henryetta will face the Sayre Hurricanes in the next round of the Oklahoma Kids State Tournament.
