Obituary For LaBerta Marie Vinyard – March 31 1941 – February 1 2026
LaBerta Marie Vinyard, 84 of Kellyville, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, February 1, 2026, at The Garden’s Nursing Facility. LaBerta was born, March 31,1941 in Miami, Oklahoma to Harold Truman Mahurin and Nellie Marie Garner Mahurin. She was a graduate of Miami High School and later attended NEO in Miami. She worked as a lab and x-ray technician right out of college, then later worked at Patty Precision as a machinist and later was a cashier at Warehouse Market. LaBerta enjoyed spending time with her children even joining a bowling league with them. She also enjoyed her grandchildren, gardening, reading, going to the fair looking at the livestock and at one time she was really passionate about her dairy goats. She was a Baptist by faith and was a long-time member of Sunrise Baptist Church in Kellyville.
LaBerta is survived by her children; DeWayne and Tonya Vinyard of Jenks, Russell and Valerie Vinyard of Kellyville, Roger and Stephanie Vinyard of Kellyville, Darrell and Becky Howard of Inola; grandchildren Jeff and Constance Endsley, Kami and Jeremy Richards, Lizabeth and Bill Whinery, Megan Voss, Davis Vinyard and Baylee Vinyard; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings Barbara and Pete Rico, Imogene and Mike Neely, Virginia Mahurin and Winnie Mahurin.
She is preceded in death by Roger Q Vinyard after sharing 51 years together, parents Harold Truman and Nellie Marie Mahurin and brothers James Truman Mahurin and Stacy Lee Mahurin.
