Obituary For Irma Dean Walker October 18 1938 — June 2 2026

Irma Dean Walker, a resident of Claremore and former longtime resident of Dewar passed away Tuesday, June 2nd, 2026 in Tulsa at the age of 87. She was born October 18th, 1938 in Dewar to Prentiss Wade, Sr. and Mary Jane (Gilbert) Wade.

She was a graduated from Dewar Public Schools, class of 1956. She married the love of her life, Donald Haley Walker August 11, 1956 in Dewar.

Irma served on the Board of Director’s for First Family Federal Credit Union for twenty-five years. She was administrator of the OCEMS for 37 years and a member of Wilson Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Prentiss and Mary Jane Wade, a sister, Patty Reid and a brother Prentiss “Sonny” Wade.

She is survived by three children, Wade Walker of Claremore; Treasa Walker of Claremore; and Joe Don Walker wife Lora of Claremore; Three grandchildren, Sherydan Chambers & husband Joe, Sam Walker & wife Loren, and Sally Walker; also by three great grandchildren, Luke Walker, Maisie Walker and Maeve Chambers. Also by a host of friends and other relatives.

Viewing for Irma Dean will be from 4 – 7pm Sunday, June 7th, 2026 at Integrity Funeral Service.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Combs, Kelly Wade, Willard Wade, David Dunzy, Jeff Reed, and Joe Chambers. Honorary pallbearers will be Wade Snodgrass, Dr. Brent Davis, David Dykes and Charles Wilson.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 8th, 2026 at Integrity Chapel. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction and care of Integrity Funeral Service.
